I'm not sure if this is because of Ruffle or not, but the Paint program has a very problematic bug, the window is not the only space available for drawing, but instead the entire monitor. After closing the paint window, the drawing does not dissapear and drawing is still enabled. Besides some touch ups and expansion needed, I enjoyed this.

TotalEmulator responds:

Fix this!

Beat the game so hard that it crashed on the last amogus crew mate.

Oh, I forgot I contributed to that thread. So this is what it was for, huh.

Wegra responds:

I actually forgot about it honestly. Let alone posting

If you really want to make a rage game, you have to add absolutely annoying traps, not impossible ones, but ones that if you land on, completely ruin any progress you've made. Also forget about checkpoints, you have to be virtually scarce with those, especially on the really long levels. Otherwise, it's GG 2 EZ.

I think something that needs to be worked on next is the AI taking into account the random generation of the pillars, other than that, I think this is cool!

P.S. On my first run of this, the AI was still failing on the first one after 23 generations with a decent run around the tenth, on my second run after your reply, it perfected its flying after 21 generations.

EclipseStorm7S responds:

It should be taking that into account, I think the algorithm takes longer to figure things out than I anticipated.

Since my last play, I've noticed you've gotten the game to run, which is good. I still don't know if it was on my end or not, either way, a new problem has arisen. The sound seems to come out like static, as if the audio file is corrupted. I'd provide what's happening but the Newgrounds dump doesn't allow video files.

Kerich12 responds:

thank you for your feedback this sound is a bug that I do not know how to fix although when I tested it in clickteam everything worked

SIXTY-NINE ON THE BOARD, LET'S FUCKING GO REDDITORS!!!!

The events in the game happen too fast, what I would think help is to incorporate more frames and to have a pause in-between speech bubbles so that people get time to read and can click when they're ready to read the next part of the conversation.

StodulskiJV responds:

Bro, Thank you! Add this to the Game Thanks for the suggestion!

The game is simply too easy, I was able to attack the enemy without having to move my arm at all, and the only movement the enemy has is swinging his arm back a fourth which doesn't seem to give him any chance to attack, unless I was to have my arm completely down. Furthermore, I don't seem to understand why modern day soldiers with what I could assume is Kevlar protection are fighting with swords rather than guns. I think it would make more sense to have the games theme about knights or pirates, where fighting with swords is more fitting, unless you were to explain some sort of back story.

Maso25 responds:

The setting is meant to be set in stone, as in isn't meant to be exactly like real life. if every game with modern in its name was super realistic instead of being its own game was,, well that i wouldn't really work.
second yeah i know the AI isn't amazing but this is my first time using this weird way of making the AI swing. and i works well with blocking so yer know.

overall what you have said makes a lot of sense and helps me in the game development of this game or even the next.
thanks for playing mate
